Villers-la-Montagne. “1,000 km by bike” challenge: stage in the town this Thursday, July 31

No, it won't be the riders of the Tour de France - which has already finished, by the way - but two cycle tourists accompanied by a car, who will stop in Villers-la-Montagne, in front of the multi-purpose hall, on Thursday, July 31, at 10 a.m.
Guillaume Chartier, a resident of Loir-et-Cher, has planned a sporting challenge entitled "1,000 kilometers by bike against two chronic diseases" (endometriosis and Crohn's disease, his children's illnesses). The goal: to cross France from east to west, starting on July 31 from Dudelange, Luxembourg, and arriving at Plouay, in Morbihan, on Sunday, August 10.

The first leg will take them from Dudelange to Stenay, passing through Villers-la-Montagne. Guillaume Chartier contacted the Roue Libre Villers Loisirs association to invite its members to join them for a stretch of the journey. Around ten of them will take the road to Stenay, passing through Allondrelle-la-Malmaison, the Chiers Valley, and Montmédy.
Magins are invited to come and attend the meeting on Thursday at 10 a.m.!
